Dear Sir,
It gives us great pleasure at the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center to present our Arabic Courses in Jordan in coordination with Different Dimension Institute for training, development and consultation.
This unique course allows students to embrace the language by combining their studies with an understanding of the Arab culture and history.
Summer course overview:
The Course is designed to enrich the students’ language skills by providing an exciting and educational international experience. Students spend the whole course surrounded by the cultural environment related to the language chosen. All classes are taught by an enthusiastic and professional team that is specialized in teaching Arabic for non-Arab speakers.
One of the most important and engaging aspects of these programs is that learning is not limited to the classroom since the various locations are used as the student’s Living Textbook. Students will observe and experience many of the issues that their textbooks address, including the language, history, culture, art, religion, business, and politics all over Jordan. This program will help them to better understand the culture by understanding the reality behind the Arabic and Islamic countries.
Accommodations and flights:
Students are transported from the airport to the student housing where they will live in an environment experienced by local students.
This includes services and facilities that are not always equivalent to what the students may be used to where they live. As with any international travel, they should be prepared to adapt to local customs and standards that may be disconcerting at first, but will ultimately broaden their understanding and appreciation of the host country and its culture.
The classes will be taught by specialists and highly qualified professors and teachers from our universities in Jordan.
Arabic Courses 2013/2014:
The Arabic Program offers Modern Standard Arabic in 8 weeks with a total of 160 credit hours, 4 hours per day, and 5 days per week.
Alternatively; 16 weeks with a total of 240 credit hours, 4 hours per day, and 5 days per week.

Depending on the students’ level;
This course introduces the Arabic alphabet and phonetic system (if needed). They will start developing their vocabulary via specific structures presented in the textbook. Students will also learn simple grammatical structures and gradually listen to authentic and instructional audio recordings that accompanies the textbook. Most of the exercises and activities are task-based and student-centered. During this course students will be able to:
- Distinguish and pronounce all Arabic letters;
- Write accurately;
- Initiate social interactions, ask for basic information, and be aware of basic cultural aspects of social interaction in the Arab world;
- Speak about themselves, their education, and their family with native speakers of Arabic;
- Comprehend simple written texts on familiar topics;
- Comprehend simple audio/video texts on familiar topics;
- Compose simple paragraphs about themselves; and
- Be familiar with some of the differences between Standard and spoken Arabic.

The average number of student in a class will be a maximum of 15 students. |
| Afternoon program |
In the afternoon, we take students to visits after class in the capital Amman, in order to give them the chance to visit and shop. |
The Institute guarantees companions to the students, who have a good knowledge in the most famous and important places to visit. |
| Tourism Program |
The Institution shall arrange for a tourism program that encompasses the religious and cultural destinations in Jordan, in addition to monthly visits to libraries and bookstores. |
The program will be full of entertainment activities, planed and designed from the supervisors of the journey. |
| Accommodation |
We will be offering a residence to the students with a minimum of 2 students in one room with all the utilities required including Internet connection. |

Students will be taken once a week to buy whatever they need. Transportation arrangements shall be made to make the journey smoother. |
| Extras |
We will provide each student with a mobile number and an Internet dongle upon arrival to the airport, in addition to the stationary they need (notebooks, study books .. etc) |
| Health insurance |
Students shall be registered with the health and life insurance programs. |

| Private tuition |
Private classes can be provided upon request and to be arranged in a very professional manner |
| Makeup classes |
Makeup classes shall be arranged for the students depending on their needs. |
| Certificate |
Students who fulfill all their duties and pass their exams successfully will be entitled to receive a certificate of completion. |
Institutions
(Educational visits) |
Students will have the opportunity to visit scientific institutions, governmental bodies like The Chief of Judges Department, NGOs, orphanages, in addition to renowned publishing houses in Jordan. (optional) |
| Residency Visa |
We shall arrange for the student's residency visa and all the related legal issues during their stay in Jordan. (optional) |
The cost for the Arabic Course (8weeks program):
