ASCA & LACPA Sign MoU

The MoU is to enhance cooperation between ASCA and LACPA by holding training courses, accounting professional certificates exams, and providing the profession practicing and non-practicing LACPA members with the professional Arabic versions solely issued by ASCA in the Arab world

BEIRUT------ November 3, 2011 ------ The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants (LACPA) to hold specialized training courses in Lebanon on the accounting and auditing standards.

The MoU was signed by ASCA Deputy Chairman Dr. Osama Tabbara and LACPA President Ms. Gina Chammas.

According to the MoU, specialized training courses on accounting and auditing standards will be held, in addition to professional seminars and conferences for the accounting and auditing practitioners.

The MoU is to enhance cooperation between ASCA and LACPA by holding training courses, accounting professional certificates exams, and providing the profession practicing and non-practicing LACPA members with the professional Arabic versions solely issued by ASCA in the Arab world.

ASCA Executive Director Mr. Fahem Al-Musa highlighted the MoU which goes in harmony with ASCA goals in terms of upgrading and advancing the accounting and auditing professions, and spreading awareness of the accounting and auditing international standards in the Arab countries which are applied and used all over the world.
