Signing the agreement complements the joint efforts exerted to enable the Jordanian youth, enhance their participation in the local community and provide them with the necessary theoretical and practical training in the IT field to obtain rewarding job opportunities- Mr. Abu-Osbeh

AMMAN----- October 24, 2011----- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Center (TAGCAITC) and the Jordanian Education for Employment Foundation signed an agreement to accredit the Foundation as an examination and training center for Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Diploma.

Mr. Salah Abu-Osbeh, TAGCAITC executive director said: "Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Center is very keen on providing high quality and internationally recognized services in partnership with leading global institutions. Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Diploma aims at achieving the optimal use of IT in application".

He added: "Signing the agreement complements the joint efforts exerted to enable the Jordanian youth, enhance their participation in the local community and provide them with the necessary theoretical and practical training in the IT field to obtain rewarding job opportunities through connecting their training and qualification with the real needs of job market."

Ms. Mayada Abu Jaber, director general of Jordan Education for Employment Foundation said: "Signing this agreement to train and qualify youth to gain international professional certificates will create new and sustainable jobs, through connecting youth’s training and qualifications with the requirements of the labor market."

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Center
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Center provides IT training programs to qualify those sitting for the IT examinations in Arabic. Those who successfully pass this course will be granted the Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge International Diploma in IT Skills.

The Center’s objectives are summarized in the following: eliminating Internet illiteracy, assessing candidates’ ability to utilize information technology (IT), mastering data processing, promoting efficiency and development, removing the psychological barrier of information technology, providing IT skills to all society segments and employing advanced technology in various businesses.

Jordanian Education for Employment Foundation
It is a non-profit organization established in Jordan in 2006, and associated with the US Education for Employment Foundation in Washington. The Foundation works with the private sector leaders to identify the skills that the job market needs. It also works with the academic institutions to develop training programs in consistence with the specifications required by companies, and cooperates with employers to obtain a prior commitment to employ graduates.
