AMMAN --------- October 17, 2011-------- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-Knowledge) in cooperation with the National Center for Culture and Arts (NCCA) organized a training workshop entitled "Problem Solving and Communication Skills through Role Playing."

The workshop aimed at providing university students with the skills of communication and expression of views with regard to matters of interest, whether they are social, educational, or economic in addition to how to deal with people from various backgrounds and ages.

The workshop included practical applications of drama strategies such as role playing, improvisation, framing, voice and recitation as well as using the various layers of voice, right breathing, impressive vocabularies and appropriate body language.

The workshop also focused on how to overcome stress and shyness while delivering a speech, a lecture or a presentation.

Mr. Tariq Hammad, executive director of TAG-Knowledge, stressed on the significance of providing students with such skills that will positively impact their university life and said: "This workshop forms a part of the constant cooperation between TAG– Knowledge and the NCCA aiming at developing the local community by providing youth with the skills and qualifications necessary for creating a competent generation."

The National Center for Culture and Arts (NCCA) of King Hussein Foundation was established in 1987 with the aim of developing an understanding and awareness of the value of arts in the educational process and to promote social development issues in addition to enhancing the theater and dance movements in Jordan and the region.

Participants at "Problem Solving and Communication Skills through Role Playing" Workshop organized by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-Knowledge) in cooperation with the National Center for Culture and Arts (NCCA) .
