Amman National School Students Tour Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute

We are extremely happy to host students from all schools and our library which boasts hundreds of titles is open to all students who want to learn the language of the future - Mr. Mustafa Al Huseini

AMMAN------ October 19, 2011------- Students from the Amman National School (ANS) visited Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG- Confucius) as part of the global program and cultural exposure adopted by the Institute for schools.

The group was received by Mr. Mustafa Al Huseini, TAG-Confucius executive director who gave a presentation on the work of the Institute, its courses and programs.

Students also watched documentaries about China and tried on some of the traditional costumes of Chinese ancient emperors.

Mr. Al Huseini said: "We are extremely happy to host students from all schools and our library which boasts hundreds of titles is open to all students who want to learn the language of the future.”

TAG- Confucius students took part in many competitions and won top positions in the Great Wall and Petra in Chinese language competition in addition to HSK exam for proficiency in Chinese language.

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute was established in September 2008 to promote the Chinese language and culture, in order to reach a better mutual understanding between Arab and Chinese cultures. This is one-of-a-kind initiative based on the cooperation agreement between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and the Confucius Institute in China. The Institute was named after Confucius, the world-renowned great thinker, educator and philosopher in Chinese history. Confucius's thoughts have influenced China and other areas in the world for nearly 2000 years.
