Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization Holds Its Annual Meeting in Dubai

DUBAI------- October 5, 2011 -------- Under the title, "Forty Years in the Service of the Arab Economy," the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) held its Annual Meeting at the Conference Center, Business Village of the Government of Dubai.

The meeting was chaired by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman and CEO of TAG-Org and attended by the executive managers and department managers as well as professionals in various fields of specialization.

His Highness Vice-President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and while visiting the Business Village where Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization’s Annual Meetings were being held met with the participants wishing them success and future progress in their endeavor to achieve their goals in serving and boosting the economy in all Arab countries.

In his opening speech, Dr. Abu- Ghazaleh reviewed 40 years of work with successes and obstacles, "what has been achieved and what remains ahead to be achieved." He addressed the audience saying "You should be proud that among you are those who contributed to the building of the Organization and those who have been still contributing to the development of the TAG-Org's work. You should also be proud to be affiliated with the largest Arab professional group providing its services and contributed to the march of Arab countries' development and economic and social progress."

He added "you still have a long way to go. At the forefront is to develop your capacities and experiences as well as develop programs of action and performance to face rapid developments in the world of knowledge so that we have effective contribution to the building of Arab societies and knowledge-based business in our countries. Indeed, we have achieved a lot through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academies and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Graduate School of Business (TAGSB), which are in harmony with our mission, vision and objectives as the largest group of professional services in the Arab region."

TAG-Org’s meeting focused on professional services in various sectors mainly in banks, companies, government administration and services for international organizations. An extensive discussion was held on the promotion of means and programs to meet the needs of such sectors in the whole region.

Discussions also stressed on the importance of the appropriate restructuring to suit the volume, work and spread of the Group and in response to the economic situation in the region and the world.

HE Abu-Ghazaleh underlined the issue of quality assurance, absolute commitment to international standards applied in the countries of the world in all our services and work as well as upgrading professional control of performance.

Within this context, emphasis was laid on the importance and need to provide professionals with constant training in advanced programs and courses to promote their capacities and competence in the service of the business community.

Continuing the approach of honoring creative employees during the year, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh granted the Shield of Excellence to a number of departments and called it this year "Abu-Ghazaleh Gazelle".
