AMMAN---- September 8, 2011-----Under the patronage of HE Dr. Tayseer Nuaimi, Jordan's Minister of Education, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) awarded distinguished students in the general secondary examination (Tawjihi) in a live event organized and broadcast by Amen FM radio station.

Mr. Issam Al-Omari, general manager of Amen FM commended the role of TAG-Org in serving the society in all fields especially the educational sector and knowledge-based societies.

Meanwhile, Mr. Salah Abu Osbeh, executive director of Professional Partnerships at TAG-Org said: "This is part of our corporate social responsibility. HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh has always been a big supporter of students and the educational sector in the Kingdom and we are translating his vision into reality of creating an e-education environment and assisting students in adopting it."

Mr. Abu Osbeh handed TAGITOP to distinguished students in the scientific, literally and IT streams.

The TAGITOP initiative aims at introducing an affordable top of the line laptop to every Arab citizen, in an effort to increase the level of computer literacy in the Arab region, bridge the digital gap, and build sufficient ICT skills and capacity to boost the economic standing of the region and steer it towards a knowledge-based and innovation driven society.
