TAG- Confucius Participates in the International Book Day

We are really happy to be part of this global event which created an excellent opportunity for us to display our comprehensive cultural and educational books and at the same time mingle with other centers and individuals who visited the International Book Day - Mustafa Al Husseini

AMMAN-------May 17, 2012------- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG- Confucius), the official testing center for China's Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi or the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) recently took part in the International Book Day held at the Cultural village of Al Hussein Park.

The event, held under the patronage of the Minister of Culture HE Dr. Salah Jarrar and organized by the Jordan Library & Information Association witnessed the participation of various cultural centers including the Russian and the American centers in addition to others.

Mr. Mustafa Al Husseini, TAG- Confucius executive director said:" We are really happy to be part of this global event which created an excellent opportunity for us to display our comprehensive cultural and educational books and at the same time mingle with other centers and individuals who visited the International Book Day."

The event witnessed a host of students representing various universities eager to have copies of various books that deals with culture and education.

About TAG- Confucius
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute was established in September 2008 to promote the Chinese language and culture, in order to reach a better mutual understanding between Arab and Chinese cultures. This is one-of-a-kind initiative based on the cooperation agreement between Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and the Confucius Institute in China. The Institute was named after Confucius, the world-renowned great thinker, educator and philosopher in Chinese history. Confucius' thoughts have influenced China and other areas in the world for nearly 2000 years.
