First JCPA Preparation Course Concluded at ASCA Yarmouk University Branch

IRBID----April 11, 2012------- Under the patronage of Prof. Ziad Al Kurdi, vice president of Yarmouk University, the first class of graduates of the Jordanian Certified Public Accountant (JCPA) preparation course organized by the Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) was held at Queen Rania Center for Jordanian Studies and Community Service at Yarmouk University in Irbid.

The participants included employees at different sectors mainly in the banking, finance and accounting in addition to university students in the northern part of the Kingdom.

Al Kurdi said:"This graduation is a result of the partnership between the University and the private and public sectors which aims at developing our local institutions and the society. The Yarmouk University is ready to strengthen these partnerships especially with the Arab Society of Certified Accountants."

Meanwhile, Mr. Fahem Al Mousa, ASCA executive director said:"These training courses work on qualifying accountants and auditors and prepare them for the labor market and provide opportunities to find jobs in the northern region."

At the end of the graduation ceremony, Al Kurdi presented certificates to the 18 employees and students from the North of the Kingdom who took part in the JCPA training course.
